Close ‘Em & Clothe ‘Em

For Toastmasters clubs, this workshop answers the fundamental two-part question of:
“How do we help Guests become Members, and
how do we help Members want to stay Members?”

Having been rather successful with sponsorship in Toastmasters, I was asked to share how I did it. I developed this 30-minute workshop and accepted the invitation to present this seminar at 10:15am, on Saturday, May 24, 2014, in the Lighthouse B room, at the District 45 Toastmasters Spring Conference, on May 23-25, 2014, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in South Portland, Maine.

Because I wanted to be more pro-active in engaging the audience members’ brains, I intentionally chose to develop memory tools – even choosing to not use PowerPoint. This seminar uses enjoyable memory tools such as an illustrative story, a memorable catch-phrase title, and fun finger games, as well as couple of my trademark terms, Permission Fishin’ ™ and Quitter Predictors ™.

Ulitimately, this workshop provides an easy-to-remember way to systematically solve the sponsorship and retention question.
